Reece Treloar, in his first race for the season produced a solid race at Footscray to take out the "B" grade race. By taking out this victory, Reece joins Xavier & Rod, who in his first "A" Grade race finished with the peleton in "A" Grade.
From early in the season where MTR had no "A" grade cyclist, to now have 3 out of the 10 athletes in the team is a very solid performance.
Jason Quigley, also started his season on the weekend with a 6 hour enduro, managed 6th overall after completing a massive Saturday effort in preparation for more important races later in the season.
We look forward to race reports from these two athletes soon.
The rest of the MTR Team have been working together to assist Ironman NZ entrants Xavier Coppock & Carla Lawson. With assistance from Archie, Travis & Jason, both athletes are in good condition for solid performances.
